Impact of Digital Transformation on Business Management and Socio-Economic Development

Abstract

The digital transformation has proved to be a highly significant influence on the socio-economic development, affecting productivity, governance and quality of life in various spheres. This paper will examine the socioeconomic effects of digital transformation in terms of sustainability, innovation and regional development. The methodology will be through a thorough review and synthesis of recent literature along with the qualitative analysis of the principal factors of transformation including the digital infrastructure, the adoption of technology, and the policy frameworks. The paper notes that there have been major gains in economic productivity, service delivery and workforce pattern, and at the same time, it indicates the existence of challenges including digital disparities, skills shortages, and cybersecurity issues.
